5 days. That’s right, you can count down to the election on one hand – finally! Over the past 2 months, NSCA has provided you information on the key issues affecting small business and the potential impact from whichever party gets elected. But now it’s time to put the information you’ve gathered into action.
As an American citizen, it is one of our greatest responsibilities to exercise our right to vote. In an election where every vote truly will count (even if you aren’t living in a state like Ohio, Virginia, or Iowa) the impact of this election will be reflected beyond November 2012. Your business revenues, your employees’ well-being, your retirement, your future healthcare, the economic stability of our country and the ability to compete with the growing number of world powers in education, technology, energy efficiency and so on will truly be impacted by the outcome of this election.
Beyond the federal election, visit this website to better understand the issues in your state and how a yes or no will impact your state.
The voters guide below is just that – a guide to help you choose the best candidate for what you believe in and will help you prosper for years to come – both professionally and personally. While there are many other issues to pay attention to, NSCA knows its role is to provide you with information pertinent to your business, with the main issues revolving around the economy, taxes, and healthcare. Issues such as labor, contracting, and regulations are also incredibly important to pay attention to. NSCA will continue to monitor, educate and engage its members over the next four years and beyond.
Get out to the polls and vote and encourage others to do the same!
