NSCA is compiling manufacturer supply chain updates provided by our manufacturer partners on the status of their product availability.
The supply chain is the No. 1 (or sometimes No. 2 behind finding and retaining good talent) business challenge that integration company leaders report to NSCA.
It’s particularly frustrating because the value that NSCA integration companies offer to their customers across all vertical markets has never been higher. That opportunity is coupled with several unique challenges — and product availability is at the top of that list. Essentially, when the pandemic hit, many integration companies’ project pipelines dried up; now they’re filling up quickly but it’s difficult to deliver those solutions because they can’t get the products. Integrators are concerned that, due to supply chain challenges, they might not be able to get the products they need to fuel projects and drive revenue.
We’ve reached out to NSCA manufacturer partners for updates on supply chain status and projections. Please note that the following content comes directly from each company.
NSCA will update this post whenever manufacturers provide updates.

Biamp
Supply chain delays and parts cancellations remain an ongoing challenge for Biamp but the situation is slowly improving. Thanks to an aggressive procurement strategy and prioritized engineering programs to design around scarce components, most Biamp products continue to ship with normal or slightly delayed lead times. A small number of products have extended lead times but we’re working to bring those back to normal.

Jeron Electronic Systems Inc
No Supply Delays for Made-in-the USA Nurse Call and Area of Rescue Systems Manufactured by Jeron
Unlike the ongoing supply chain issues experienced in many industries, as a U.S. manufacturer, Jeron Electronic Systems has had no delays in supplying systems and components for existing and new nurse call and area of rescue customers. While following all safety protocols over the last two years, Jeron continued manufacturing throughout the pandemic. This continued availability of Jeron systems and parts has allowed healthcare and commercial facilities to keep their existing systems running and enabled Jeron to replace aging and obsolete systems in a timely manner.
As a family run business, Jeron anticipated large supply issues and ordered the components needed to manufacture Provider® Nurse Call Systems and the Pro-AlertTM Area of Rescue System. Jeron’s forward-planning perspective also included adding increased production capacity within the last year to meet growing demand.
Beth Machall-Dwyer of Jeron’s Distributor, New Era Technology remarks, “If we can’t deliver to our hospitals or the healthcare facilities that we work with, they potentially can’t open their doors. Jeron is a USA company where everything is designed, engineered, manufactured, and shipped; this is huge right now.”
Jeron began in 1965 at a residence on the north side of Chicago. Jeron systems are now sold worldwide, while still being a family run business headquartered just ten miles from where it all began over fifty years ago.
Jeron provides Nurse Call solutions for hospitals and other healthcare markets and Life Safety Two-Way Communications for commercial buildings and residential facilities. Utilizing the latest in VoIP (Voice over IP) and enterprise-ready technology, Jeron’s Provider® Nurse Call and Pro-Alert™ Area of Rescue meets the needs of patient to-staff and staff-to-resident communications for alerting, call activity reporting, one-touch workflows, and much more.

LG Business Solutions
The resilience of LG’s supply chain impacts not just the products we provide for systems integrators, agents, and facility managers, but also our services. The ability to have the specified product available in the right place at the right time determines the success or failure of our joint efforts, including the integrator’s performance and efficiency and the organization’s ability to limit downtime to a minimum. Logistics and supply chain resilience are also essential to maintaining warranty and support systems.
For these reasons, LG invests heavily in the health of our supply chain. We work to make sure our infrastructure supports the vision of innovative, reliable displays and supporting systems; and that our infrastructure supports the demands of integrators and operators seeking to capitalize on the demand surge of a post-pandemic economy. LG is making this investment because our value proposition extends beyond technology to include service, support and other intangibles that systems integrators and customers need to include in their respective cost-benefit analyses.
In fact, LG is one of 11,400 certified partners spanning the breadth of the trade community in the CTPAT program (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), which is just one aspect of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) multi-layered cargo enforcement strategy. Through this program, CBP works with the trade community to strengthen international supply chains and improve United States border security. As part of this voluntary but rigorous program, LG addresses a broad range of topics to align security throughout the supply chain.
While some brands will chase the commoditization of technology and race to the bottom on the price/performance matrix, this has never been LG’s philosophy. We have invested in in-market application engineering teams, have two dedicated North America innovation centers (including our new Business Innovation Center in Los Angeles), have invested in an online e-commerce shop for small businesses, and provide warranties and support as components of the LG brand promise. Supply chain resilience is fundamental to the LG brand promise.
As commercial properties emerge from the pandemic era, the very last thing anyone wants is downtime for systems integrators waiting for product or downtime of spaces waiting to be fully outfitted. We have learned the importance of a healthy supply chain to a strong organization and channel, and we want to make the resilience of our supply chain another top reason systems integrators and customers choose LG.
