System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports are globally recognized internal control reports created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and contains SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3 examinations. The SOC2 report is issued by an independent third party and focuses on the service organization’s controls relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. There are two types of SOC2 reports, Type I and Type II. Type I evaluates the effectiveness of controls’ design to a certain point, and Type II evaluates the effectiveness of controls’ design and operation over a specified period. It indicates that this cloud service and related systems has comprehensive service capabilities regarding the security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy, and further demonstrates its advantages in the field of cloud security.
