The NSCA Education Foundation Founders’ Award honors those who better our industry through inspiration and building ladders to help others succeed.
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA, March 8, 2024 — NSCA, the leading not-for-profit association representing the commercial integration industry, recognized Jay Rogina with the 2024 NSCA Education Foundation Founders’ Award at the 26th annual Business & Leadership Conference (BLC), held Feb. 27-29, 2024, in Irving, TX.
Jay Rogina, former CEO and principal of Spinitar (acquired by Solutionz Inc. in 2022), has more than 35 years of executive management and technical experience in the support of customers at various top electronic technology firms. In addition to running Spinitar, and providing the company’s overall strategic direction and visionary leadership, he also served as president of InfoComm’s international board, making him well respected in the audiovisual industry. Today, in a semi-retirement role, he leads Rogina Capital Management Group (RCMG).
“I feel so honored to be recognized by my peers and friends in this amazing industry!” says Rogina. “Receiving this award makes me feel so blessed. I’ve maintained a belief and focus: ‘Treat everyone as you would like to be treated.’ This begins with trust!”
During his time at Spinitar, he created a company with a culture that many integrators attempt to emulate. He also helped recruit young professionals into the systems integration industry, showing them the path to rewarding and exciting careers.
“Jay has helped make this industry what it is today, often incorporating non-traditional tactics and strategies into his approach,” says NSCA Executive Director Tom LeBlanc. “His impacts are lasting, and he has given systems integration professionals the opportunity to grow—not only within his former company, but also throughout the industry.”
