This shift builds ownership with the employee and allows the leader to focus on coaching and developing through the performance cycle. A well-written performance plan is also a powerful tool for leaders to use when determining where to focus their development and coaching discussion with their employees.

Cassie Richardson, Senior Human Resource Specialist, has been with Insperity for 8 years. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and she is a certified SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) with over 15 years of HR experience. She has worked with and continues to work with a multitude of organizations on improving the performance of their people with their human capital strategies.
