In this session, details of the recent changes to the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) white collar exemption rule will be discussed. Attendees of this session will be provided information on how certain lower-paid executive, administrative and professional employees who are currently exempt from overtime, though likely work more than eight hours a day (in select states) or forty (40) hours each week, will need to be compensated going forward.
