Real-time jobsite documentation gives project teams reliable records they can use to make decisions before minor field issues become big problems.

When a project manager is told that work is on track, they often have to take the technician or subcontractor’s word for it.

Juggling several active jobsites means they can’t be everywhere at once, so they rely on calls, texts, emails, and quick chats with team members to gauge progress. Many times, they’re speaking to project status without a current view of field conditions.

When project updates are built based on information coming from many people and places, it’s easy for important details to be delayed, lost in translation, or left undocumented. Those records become especially important when schedules get off-track or questions arise: Project teams can simply point to the documented condition, when it was identified, and how it affected the work. 3. Continuous As-Builts and Clearer Project Status

Technicians can document cable runs, installed devices, routing changes, and daily progress as they complete their work, creating as-builts as they go instead of recreating them at closeout.
