ESPA Certification

This is valuable credential is for career seekers who hold a high school diploma. Obtaining ESPA certification tells prospective employers that you’re serious about a career and are ready to be effective on the job from day one.

The ESPA certification exam (the EST exam) covers five domains: electrical basics, tools, construction methods and materials, wiring and installation practices, and standards, codes, and safety practices. For details on what’s covered, download the ESPA Certified-EST® Exam Blueprint.

How do you prepare for certification? You can study on your own through online training. You can also obtain the Printed Review Guide. Many high schools, technology schools, and community colleges also offer ESPA curriculum and certification. To learn more about these career avenues, visit the ESPA Exam Prep Page.
