Generate New Business with Industry Certifications

Obtaining an industry certification can help secure your career or your business for the long term. You come away with an expanded skill set and knowledge of industry standards and requirements. That means jobs are done right, which reflects positively on the tech, the company and anyone else associated with the project.

NSCA and ESPA industry-specific certifications ensure high-quality work by promoting electronic systems best practices. These exclusive designations enable you to train and motivate your staff, differentiate yourself from the competition, or prove to potential employers that you have the knowledge and skills for the job. Choose your experience level to get started:

Up to One Year of Experience

Begin your certification process with the Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA), the career path for systems technology professionals.

NSCA, along with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), founded the Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA). ESPA seeks to unify the electronic systems industry by delivering high-quality education and credible certification that is universally recognized as the path to a career in electronics systems contracting, such as the commercial industry that NSCA represents.

ESPA’s C-EST (Certified – Electronic Systems Technician) designation is designed for professionals with at least one year of industry work experience. These ideal candidates are responsible for the installation of electronic communications equipment and infrastructure, including cable, fiber optics and electronic devices.

One to Three Years of Experience

Show employers that you have specialized knowledge and skills in the commercial electronic systems industry.

NSCA’s EST-L2 is designed for professionals with one to three years of industry experience whose primary occupation is the commercial or residential design and/or integration, installation and field maintenance/service of: cabling, infrastructure, and/or products that transport voice, video, audio and data signals; products that control signals; and products that use signals to control mechanical and electrical apparatus. EST-L2 certification confirms your experience and skill levels.
