NSCA To Release Industry Compensation And Benefits Report

The numbers are in. And the news is good for National Systems Contractors Association members. Every two years, NSCA polls industry professionals regarding company background, staffing, certification, employment benefits and compensation. Confidential surveys are mailed to industry contractors/integrators in North America. The results are printed in the Compensation and Benefits Report, scheduled to be released on September 15.
NSCA and InfoComm to Consolidate Trade Shows

InfoComm International, the worldwide leader in professional AV exhibitions and NSCA, the leading trade association for the electronics systems contracting industry, have announced a cooperative effort to consolidate the leading industry events for both the professional AV and electronics systems industry. As part of this consolidation, the 2008 NSCA Systems Integration Expo™ will now become part of InfoComm’s annual tradeshow in Las Vegas on June 18-20, 2008. NSCA will also transfer its ownership interest in Integrated Systems Europe to the remaining partners, as per a separate operating agreement.

NSCA Partners with Manufacturers to Provide Quality Educational Programs

Seven new manufacturers have joined forces with NSCA to provide education and training to members. The Partner Providers, who now total ten, will provide quality training to anyone wishing to renew their EST certification or gain credits toward a Certificate of Completion program (CCP). By teaming up with outside manufacturers, members can earn additional learning units (LU’s) applicable toward NSCA certifications.
