Industry Party for AES Should be Huge Hit

NSCA, LIVESOUND, ProSoundWeb.com, DiGiCo, and Renkus-Heinz have teamed up to provide a networking opportunity on Thursday, October 5, 2006, the night before the AES (Audio Engineering Society) Convention starts.  The Huge Hang will take place at the ThirstyBear Brewing Co. and will feature their micro-brews along with Spanish tapas

NSCA Brings Additional Marketing Talent to Its Expo

The NSCA has hired Nancy Brooks Gregson as its Director of Audience Development and Technology Showcases. Gregson’s role includes grass roots marketing to attract a larger audience for the March 15-17th 2007 Expo.
NSCA Provides MasterFormat Tools and Training

A major proponent of the CSI MasterFormat 2004™ (MF04) expansion and implementation since the revisions began eight years ago, NSCA has made a further commitment to increasing awareness of the new specification by developing a series of industry how-to tools with Hall Architects. The first educational offerings will launch in late September, and NSCA has already begun accrediting five instructors who will be available for custom training programs.

Brad Nelson Named Instructor of the Year for NSCA University

The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), a leading not-for-profit association supporting the commercial electronic systems industry, has named Brad Nelson 2006 Instructor of the Year for their NSCA University – College of Project Management. Nelson was selected based on student evaluations of his course titled “BizSkills for Project Managers,” which was presented at the 2006 NSCA Expo.
