Use this affordable and convenient online assessment to test your skills and prepare to take a systems certification exam. This test provides a good indicator of your knowledge of systems integration facts and techniques that may appear on the exam.

The following guidelines may help determine which certification, and associated assessment, is right for you:

C-EST® Assessment

This assessment provides a good indicator of your fundamental skills in multiple systems, ensuring a certified electronic systems technician, C-EST®, is competent in basic and intermediate installation and maintenance of commercial electronic systems.

Who should take the C-EST® Assessment?
NSCA defines a technician as an individual whose primary occupation is the commercial or residential design and/or integration, installation, and field maintenance/service of: cabling, infrastructure, and/or products that transport voice, video, audio and data signals; products that capture and display or otherwise annunciate signals; products that control signals; and products that use signals to control mechanical and electrical apparatus.

How it works:
The assessment is a 100-point exam that tests a professional's knowledge of industry information, as well as material covered in EST Levels I, II and portions of Level III Upon completion of the assessment, participants will receive an analysis of their score indicating their skill level and appropriate next step toward systems training or EST certification.

Registration
Registered participants will receive a username and password via e-mail within three business days of registration, which they can use to complete the online assessment at their convenience within fifteen days.
