Industry Raises Money For Foundation at InfoComm 09

The NSCA Education Foundation was in full swing at InfoComm 09. Industry rock band, the Drunk Unkles, performed yet again at this year's show to raise money for the Foundation's educational programs and student scholarships. The Industry Charity Concert was held at the popular B.B. King's Blues Club in Orlando, Florida. A special thanks to our sponsors at the Drunk Unkles concert:

At the NSCA Zone on the show floor, NSCA brought back the popular Putting Challenge to benefit the Foundation. Attendees contributed $5 to the NSCA Education Foundation in exchange for three chances to make a hole-in-one. Those who succeeded came back for a putt-off at the end of each day of the show to compete for $500. Winners from the Putting Challenge were: Robert (Trooper) Hales of MS Audio LLC in Jackson, MS; Greg Catarious of Phoenix Integration Labs in Douglassville, PA; and Jamie Smith of International Audio Visual, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL. A special thanks to our sponsor of the Putting Challenge:
Proceeds from both events supported the NSCA Education Foundation, which helps further the careers of students in the commercial electronic systems industry.
