NSCA Education Foundation Offers Scholarships to Students

The NSCA Education Foundation is awarding five $1,000 educational scholarships to students entering the commercial electronic systems industry. This scholarship program seeks to raise awareness of the profession and promote interest among today’s youth.

The electronic systems industry’s own Drunk Unkles are back for NSCA Expo 2007. Supporting education, the Unks will be taking the stage on Friday, March 16, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Howl at the Moon Orlando, 8815 International Drive. This event is open to all badged NSCA Expo attendees; entrance is free.

The NSCA Education Foundation has determined that the 11th Annual Jason Perlman Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the award-winning MetroWest Golf Club in Orlando, Florida on March 14, 2007.
Atlas Sound Commits $25,000 to Shure Incorporated’s Renewed Industry Education Challenge

During the 9th Annual NSCA Fall Business Conference, Sandy Schroeder, Director, Strategic Planning and Integration for the US Business Unit of Shure Incorporated announced that Shure will again commit $25,000 to a fundraising campaign for the NSCA Education Foundation. As an added bonus Atlas Sound announced they will also commit $25,000 toward this matching campaign, bringing the total campaign to $50,000 in matching funds.
