Location Set for Systems Integration Industry Charity Golf Tournament

Cedar Rapids, IA, February 26, 2008 —The NSCA Education Foundation will host its popular golf tournament at InfoComm 08 on June 17, 2008 at the world-class Rhodes Ranch Golf Course in Las Vegas.

The event will continue to expand its charitable giving. In addition to supporting the NSCA Education Foundation’s educational efforts, money raised will help fund the research efforts of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and the education efforts of the International Communications Industry Foundation.

“The consolidation of the NSCA and InfoComm shows has created an expanded purpose and an opportunity to rename the leading industry golf event as the Systems Integration Industry Golf Tournament,” said Tom Frericks, president of the NSCA Education Foundation. “This event continues to be the place for industry leaders to gather and support good causes within and outside our industry.

During the tournament, industry golfers can network, enjoy a round of golf, eat breakfast and lunch, win a number of prizes (including a new car!), or compete for the coveted tournament trophies distributed each year.

Sponsors of the event include: Host and Platinum sponsor Atlas Sound and IED, Gold sponsor AMX and Silver sponsors: Harman Pro Group, Herman Electronics and QSC Audio Products, Inc.

For more information about how to participate in this event, visit www.nscafoundation.org or call 800.446.6722. You can also register for the golf tournament when registering for InfoComm 2008 at www.infocommshow.org.

About the JDRF
JDRF is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Type 1 diabetes is a disease which strikes children suddenly and requires multiple injections of insulin daily or a continuous infusion of insulin through a pump. Insulin, however, is not a cure for diabetes, nor does it prevent its eventual and devastating complications which may include kidney failure, blindness, heart disease, stroke, and amputation. For more information about the JDRF, visit www.jdrf.org.

About the International Communications Industry Foundation
The International Communications Industries Foundation (ICIF) is a nonprofit organization supporting the audiovisual industry through educational activities and charitable giving. Over the past few years, ICIF has awarded more than $200,000 in postsecondary education scholarships to college and high school students pursuing careers in A/V-related fields. Additionally, ICIF supports pro bono projects through InfoComm Shines, a program challenging InfoComm members to donate products and expertise to nonprofits seeking A/V services to fulfill their missions.
